Not only has Spain’s accommodation sector shown resilience by recording positive business results, but it also ranks above average compared to the broader EU market. In fact, a significant 70% of surveyed accommodation providers are anticipating a positive trend for the upcoming season in 2025.

Hiring Intents on the Rise



A noteworthy observation made in the report is the eagerness of Spanish hotels to bolster their workforce, showcasing one of the highest hiring intents across Europe. This is driven by a dual desire: to enhance service quality and to cope with increasing guest expectations. However, the road isn’t completely smooth. The high costs associated with labor and a significant rate of staff turnover present considerable challenges for employers. While challenges abound, the integration of technological solutions has started to make waves in the accommodation landscape.
