The Wuxi Xishan Golden Autumn Investment and Cooperation Symposium took place on November 8, 2025, under the theme "Infinite Opportunities with Xishan." This event attracted over 200 business leaders, academic experts, and institutional representatives from various parts of the globe. With the aim of promoting a favorable investment climate, the symposium highlighted Xishan's robust growth potential, signaling a promising economic future for the region.
Key Highlights of the Symposium
Throughout the Golden Autumn Investment Promotion Month, which began in September, new business collaborations have been established via investment promotion events, sector exchanges, and business meetings. This initiative has undeniably spurred local economic growth. During the symposium, a total of 91 significant projects were signed off in vital sectors including advanced manufacturing, technological innovation, foreign investment, agriculture, and finance.
Among the standout projects is a new research and development facility for wind turbine gearbox manufacturing, aiming for an annual production capacity of 1,000 high-precision 10 MW units. This venture is expected to strengthen the advanced equipment cluster in Xishan. Additionally, three more national projects were announced: a smart manufacturing facility for renewable energy components, the headquarters and R&D center of FanRuan Software, and a mass production facility for advanced processing equipment and materials. These initiatives will further bolster the industrial base and competitiveness of the district.
The symposium also saw several ambitious collaborations being introduced. This includes JD.com’s global smart factory for its Wolf Pack robots, alongside the R&D and manufacturing center of Songci Electromechanical, aimed at developing cutting-edge semiconductor and renewable energy technologies. Such projects are vital for creating a modern industrial framework in Xishan.
