The 14th Global Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) Conference, marking its 20th anniversary, will take place from October 21 to 23, 2025, and thus serves as an important platform for discussing education for sustainable development (ESD). This year, Okayama University has been recognized for its continuous efforts in collaboration on ESD projects, laying a foundation for sustainable development initiatives. During the meeting, President Nasua confirmed Okayama University's commitment to cooperate in this significant event, following a formal request from the United Nations University.

In addition to discussing the General Conference, the meeting delved into the ongoing collaborations between the two institutions, focusing on future partnerships and the potential for a cooperation agreement ahead of the conference.
