Zoomlion Expands Its German Operations with Phase II of Factory Project



Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., a forefront player in construction machinery, has officially initiated the second phase of its German factory project. This significant milestone was celebrated on March 31 in Waldlaubersheim, Germany, marking an important step in the company’s international expansion efforts.

The project entails a substantial investment of over 50 million euros and encompasses an area of 60,000 square meters. It focuses on modernizing and expanding the existing facility of WILBERT TowerCranes GmbH, which was previously acquired by Zoomlion. This upgraded factory is set to manufacture a range of construction equipment, including tower cranes, truck-mounted cranes, and concrete machinery, all designed to meet increasing global demands.

Aiming for Global Leadership



With ambitions of establishing a robust manufacturing center within Europe, Zoomlion expects the new facility to yield over 1,000 construction machinery units annually. Once operational, it is projected to contribute approximately $300 million in production value, thereby not only enhancing the company's manufacturing capabilities but also significantly boosting local economic prosperity. Participation in local industries will foster mutual benefits, illustrating the company's commitment to global collaboration.
