Mavericks Introduces New Features for NoLang

Mavericks, a Tokyo-based startup, has announced significant updates to its innovative video generation AI, NoLang. The new features include a user-friendly method for changing email addresses and an option to switch the linked Google account, enhancing user autonomy and convenience when accessing the platform.

Streamlined Email Address Change Feature

With the update, NoLang has incorporated a Change Email button in the user settings screen. Previously, users had to contact support for changing their registered email addresses, but now can simply click the button to initiate the change directly from their profiles.

To change an email address, users just need to navigate to their My Page at NoLang My Page. By clicking the Change Email button, a modal window prompts for the new address. After entering the new email and clicking on Send Confirmation Email, users only need to click the link in the confirmation email to complete the process.

Additionally, for accounts initially registered through Google, users are now able to set a password, enabling login via both email and password, and Google account methods, providing greater flexibility.

Ability to Switch Linked Google Accounts

Another significant addition is the ability to switch linked Google accounts directly from the user settings. A new section dedicated to Google linking appears in the profile settings, allowing users to manage their connections easily. Previously, users could only create new accounts via Google or log in using existing email credentials, but this expansion allows complete control over linked accounts.

To change the linked Google account, simply navigate to the My Page once again, and users will find a Link with Google button if no account is currently linked. Pressing this will direct them to the Google authentication screen. Once linked, users will see a Linked badge alongside their Google email, allowing login without the need for a password.

Maintaining a single linked Google account per NoLang user, this feature enables account transitions easily. If a user's current Google account differs from the NoLang email address, they’ll have the option to link the correct account by pressing the Link with Current Email button, aligning their accounts seamlessly. After changing the email, users can refresh their linkage without extra steps and keep their accounts current.
