Nakayama Yuuya from Serverworks Capital hails from Tokyo. He began his career in his twenties by operating a small business before joining Interspace Co., Ltd. without prior industry experience at age 31. In his third year with the company, he was appointed as the representative for its overseas business in Thailand, where he achieved profitability within three years. Following his return to Japan, he worked at Maverick Co., Ltd., where he helped grow their ad network business to a revenue scale of ¥2 billion within three years. As of 2020, he took charge of investment and M&A at Piala Inc. and established Piala Ventures to manage its funds.
