In an endearing celebration of hope and joy, Rilakkuma has been appointed as the Special Ambassador for the third consecutive year at the Santa Parade Tokyo 2025. This heartwarming charity event, organized by San-X Co., held on November 16, 2025, at Yoyogi Park, brought smiles to children battling illnesses by gifting them with Christmas presents. Adding to the excitement, Rilakkuma is set to reappear during the second leg of the parade on December 7, 2025, at Osaka Castle Park.
Bringing Christmas Cheer
Rilakkuma made a delightful entrance at the start of the parade, energizing the participants with its charming presence. The 7th Santa Parade Tokyo involved a 2.5 km parade route from Harajuku Station to Shibuya Station, where participants strolled in Santa Claus costumes, relishing the festive spirit while keeping the children in mind. Rilakkuma engaged warmly with attendees, helping to set a jubilant tone for the event.
The opening ceremony featured prominent Special Ambassadors, including EXILE's TETSUYA and celebrity Mark Panther, who also participated in the festivities. TETSUYA, donning a Santa outfit, greeted the crowd with a cheerful, "Hello everyone, Merry Christmas!" He expressed his enthusiasm for delivering smiles to the children through the parade.
This year, the event introduced a message tree where participants could write encouraging messages for the children battling illnesses, previously only featured at the Osaka venue but now available in Tokyo as well. Following the ceremony, TETSUYA joined the participants in a fun ride along the parade route, spreading cheer to everyone.

Every participant had a chance to capture the festive spirit during a special photo session. In a stunning display of holiday cheer, all attendees dressed in Santa costumes joined Rilakkuma for photographs, creating unforgettable memories against the backdrop of the parade.

Adding to the excitement, Rilakkuma teamed up with Michael Jackton, a talented Michael Jackson impersonator, for a surprise collaboration! Crafting Unique Souvenirs
The San-X booth featured a unique experience where participants could create their own badges by coloring illustrations of various beloved San-X characters, including Rilakkuma. Rilakkuma also made a special appearance here, greeting fans in a Santa costume and snapping pictures with participants.
