DAF Gaming League Launches Its Summer Season for 2025
The Department of the Air Force Gaming League (DAFGL) is back with an exciting announcement: the Summer Season 2025 is set to commence on May 10, 2025. Proudly presented by USAA, this league provides Airmen and Guardians with a vibrant platform for competition through various game titles.
An Inclusive Lineup of Games
This season promises to be the most dynamic yet, featuring a refreshing mix of competitive titles including:
- - Marvel Rivals
- - VALORANT
- - Call of Duty Warzone (Duos)
- - Street Fighter 6
- - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- - Magic The Gathering – Pauper Format
These titles are designed to engage and challenge participants while nurturing a sense of camaraderie among competitors.
How the Competition Works
The format includes bi-weekly bracketed matches that will run through to early August, culminating in a thrilling Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) and a playoff showdown spanning three weeks. For those looking for extra competition, organizers have introduced off-week ladder matches, offering players additional opportunities to showcase their skills and gain bragging rights.
Spectating the Finals
To enhance community engagement, the DAFGL will host two grand finals, which will be broadcasted live on the Air Force Gaming Twitch channel.
