Adecco Group Announces Board Restructuring
On February 25, 2026, Adecco Group, a leader in talent and technology consultancy, announced significant changes within its board of directors that will take effect during the upcoming general assembly scheduled for April 15, 2026. Notable among these changes are the nominations of Tobias Knechtle, Matthias Rebellius, and Jacques Sanche as new board members.
Long-serving board members Kathleen Taylor and Didier Lamouche will not stand for re-election. Both have been instrumental in the company's strategic direction since their respective appointments in 2015 and 2011. Jean-Christophe Deslarzes will continue in his role as board chair for one final term, projected to end in 2027, after which he plans to retire from the board after twelve years of service, including seven as chair.
Jean-Christophe Deslarzes expressed gratitude towards Taylor and Lamouche, stating, “I thank Katie and Didier on behalf of the company and the board for their strategic advice and support. They have been outstanding members and significantly contributed to a constructive relationship with the management.”
The trio of new nominees brings a wealth of experience to the Adecco board. Tobias Knechtle, currently the CFO at Geberit, has a strong background in finance and leadership, having also held financial roles at Valora Group and the Kudelski Group. His robust financial expertise is expected to enhance the board's capability.
Matthias Rebellius, who currently serves as CEO of Siemens Smart Infrastructure, has held multiple roles since joining Siemens in 1990. His extensive experience in the fields of industrial automation and building technologies will complement Adecco’s agenda, particularly in the context of artificial intelligence.
Jacques Sanche has been the CEO of Bucher Industries AG since 2016 and has a notable history of leadership roles, including CEO of Belimo Holding AG. His deep understanding of technology and business transformation brings valuable insight to the Adecco Group as it navigates the evolving labor landscape. Like his peers, Sanche is dedicated to enhancing the board's strategic depth.
In addition to the new candidates, the following current board members will seek re-election: Rachel Duan, Martine Ferland, Stefano Grassi, Sandhya Venugopal, and Regula Wallimann. This re-evaluation of board composition reflects Adecco’s commitment to sustaining leadership excellence and innovation within the organization.
The Adecco Group, with its operational presence in over 60 countries through various business units including Adecco, Akkodis, and LHH, continues to lead in promoting sustainable employment and technological consultancy solutions. As the dynamics in the workforce evolve, the new board composition symbolizes a proactive approach to shaping the future of work and enhancing organizational resilience.
