Florida Food Products Supports Veterans by Donating $10,000 to Soldiers' Angels

Florida Food Products Donates $10,000 to Support Veterans and Military Families

In a commendable act of corporate responsibility, Florida Food Products (FFP), the renowned natural ingredient supplier, presented a donation of $10,000 to Soldiers' Angels on August 15, 2025. This donation was made during a special food distribution event held at the Lake Baldwin VA Clinic in Orlando, Florida, aimed at assisting veterans and military families grappling with food insecurity.

The event marked the onset of FFP's partnership with Soldiers' Angels, which was initially announced earlier in May. The collaboration stemmed from a notable increase in food security challenges among military households, with a recent study revealing that 15.4% of active-duty personnel experience low food security, struggling to maintain access to nutritious food necessary for an active and healthy lifestyle.

During the ceremonial presentation, FFP's CEO, Vince Macciocchi, along with several other executives from the company, including COO Ken Simone and President of Foodservice Chris Johnson, actively participated in the handoff of the check. This gathering of FFP leadership not only highlighted the company's commitment to social responsibility but also showcased the passion of its employees for supporting veterans and their families.

Macciocchi emphasized the company's dedication, stating, "FFP is committed to stand beside Soldiers' Angels to help ensure that no veteran or military family faces hunger. It is deeply meaningful to see our employees step up and serve those who have served our nation. This donation reflects both our company's values and our commitment to nourishing communities in every sense."

Adding a personal dimension to the initiative, Chris Johnson, who is also an Army veteran, shared, "As someone who has worn the uniform, I know firsthand the challenges that military families face. Supporting Soldiers' Angels is more than a corporate initiative—it's a personal mission. I’m proud that FFP is stepping forward to ensure that those who serve our country never have to worry about putting food on the table."

The food assistance provided during this event played a vital role in supporting pre-registered military families, with packages containing up to 75 pounds of food, including essential items like meat, fresh produce, and pantry staples, enough to sustain a family of four for up to two weeks.

Amy Palmer, President and CEO of Soldiers' Angels, praised FFP's contribution, saying, "Working side by side with FFP has amplified what we can accomplish for veterans and their families. Their dedication to nourishing communities perfectly aligns with our mission. Together, we are ensuring that heroes and their loved ones receive the care and resources they deserve."
