Zoomlion Unveils the World's Most Powerful Hybrid Wheeled Tractor, DX7004
In a significant advancement for agricultural technology, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced the DX7004, the aircraft of hybrid wheeled tractors. Unveiled in their Smart Industry City located in Changsha, China, this powerful machine stands at nearly four meters tall and is equipped with state-of-the-art hybrid drive technology. With a peak power output of 1200 horsepower, the DX7004 is tailored for extensive agricultural operations, showcasing the company's commitment to intelligent and sustainable farming solutions.
The DX7004 incorporates several of Zoomlion’s proprietary innovations, including a digital chassis, intelligent control systems, and self-developed core components. This launch marks a crucial step in the company's goal to enhance agricultural production through modernization in performance, drive efficiency, and automation.

The tractor features a dual-motor hybrid drivetrain with a rated power of 700 horsepower and a peak torque of 4500 Nm. It possesses the capability to cover up to 7200 Mu (approximately 480 hectares) during 12 hours of continuous operation. This innovative model is designed to enhance operational flexibility with a decentralized electric drive system that allows for infinitely variable speed control in the field. Moreover, the power from the electric drives ensures precision operation for large multifunctional implements.
Equipped with the EPiot Smart Driving System and the AOS Intelligent Operations Platform, the DX7004 is capable of autonomous driving, achieving centimeter-level precision even at high speeds. Liu Yuxin, General Director of Zoomlion's Agricultural Machinery Division, expressed that the DX7004 sets new standards for performance, efficiency, and intelligent control. With innovations like an infinitely variable electric transmission, adaptive electric coordination, and full-speed autonomous driving, these technologies significantly propel the development of agricultural machinery toward greater intelligence and sustainability.
Entering the agricultural machinery sector in 2014, Zoomlion was selected as the first Chinese company to participate in the UN's long-term procurement program for agricultural machinery in 2021.
