Nutritional Diagnosis Vending Machine: A New Solution for Office Workers

In today's fast-paced world, the health of working individuals is often overlooked. With non-communicable diseases attributed to 85% of adult deaths in Japan, a significant portion of these cases stems from nutritional deficiencies—impacting one in three adults. Alarmingly, around 83% of office workers have reported an imbalance in their lunch nutrition. The realization of being nutritionally deficient can be daunting, particularly since 52% are unaware of their own condition.
Zespri International Japan, alongside KOMPEITO Co., has taken a decisive step to address these nutritional challenges through the launch of a Nutritional Diagnosis Vending Machine in Yurakucho, Tokyo. This innovative machine is part of the Zespri Nutrition Reform Project, unveiling a unique experience that allows workers to check their nutritional status easily.
