The report highlights the company's advancements in various areas including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, innovation, and its dedication to fostering a low-carbon economy.
Financial Commitment to Sustainability
In 2025, SANY made impressive investments in research and development (R&D), allocating approximately
$724 million towards innovative projects. Additionally, the company committed around
$39 million to environmental initiatives, showcasing its resolve to integrate sustainability into its core business practices. Energy efficiency projects introduced by the company resulted in savings of
$10 million, further underlining their focus on sustainable practices.
Progress in Innovation
R&D spending constituted
5.79% of SANY's total revenue, driven by the company's expanding global research presence and a robust portfolio of intellectual property. Responding to a rising demand for sustainable solutions, SANY has accelerated the electrification of its product line. The sales of renewable energy products reached
$1.21 billion, marking a milestone in their transition towards eco-friendly alternatives.
SANY has also diversified its offerings by developing a range of intelligent construction machinery including excavators, concrete mixers, rollers, pavers, and cranes. Leveraging 5G technology, autonomous operations, and remote control capabilities, these advanced machines are now essential in smart mining and construction applications, facilitating more autonomous and efficient operations.
Commitment to Environmental Standards
Ensuring sustainable operational practices, SANY has implemented comprehensive environmental, energy, and ecological management systems across its global operations. To date,
12 subsidiaries, representing
54.5% of the total, have received ISO 14001 certification. All subsidiaries have obtained necessary pollutant discharge permits, thereby adhering to stringent standards for waste water, emissions, and noise levels.
Furthermore,
22 subsidiaries have developed grid-connected energy generation capacities, with a remarkable
77.37 million kWh of clean energy consumption—accounting for
14.7% of the company's total energy usage.
Social Responsibility and Talent Development
SANY places a strong emphasis on talent development, continuously bolstering its professional support systems for employees throughout their career cycles. Women represent
14.3% of senior management positions within the organization. For 2025, SANY distributed employee incentives totaling
$73.2 million, while
$46.5 million went towards medium- and long-term incentives granted in previous years. The company also conducted
4,841 vocational training sessions, engaging
94.6% of its workforce, and maintained a low injury rate of
1.33 per 1,000 employees.
In contributing to social causes, SANY organized
129 community initiatives and charitable events, donating over
$3.13 million to social and philanthropic causes, with total donations exceeding
$50.4 million to date.
