IsoEnergy Ltd. and Purepoint Uranium Group have made significant strides in the realm of uranium exploration with their latest announcement regarding the Dorado Project. Drill Program Highlights


The summer drill program showcased the potential of the Dorado Project, revealing assay results that caught the attention of the mining community. Notably, drill hole PG25-07A reported 2.1 meters grading 1.6% U₃O₈, which included a standout interval of 0.4 meters at an impressive 8.1% U₃O₈. In addition, the hole returned another 4.9 meters at 0.52% U₃O₈. These results reflect the highest assay intervals reported to date from the Nova discovery zone, marking a vital milestone for both IsoEnergy and Purepoint.

Chris Frostad, the President and CEO of Purepoint Uranium, commented on the excellent grade, emphasizing that such findings reinforce the strength of the newly discovered uranium system. He stated, "Eight percent uranium is an excellent grade from the centre of the very strong radioactive interval drilled by hole 7A."

Addressing Challenges


Despite the notable successes, the drill program faced interruptions due to regional wildfires that limited access and posed hazardous conditions. Originally, the teams aimed for a total of 5,400 meters of drilling, but only 5,030 meters were completed across 11 holes. Both companies are optimistic and are already preparing for their follow-up drilling campaign expected in early 2026, which hinges on the final assay outcomes and interpretations from both geological and geophysical perspectives.

Collecting Valuable Data


Beyond the favorable results at the Nova discovery zone, additional exploration at other target areas such as Serin and Turaco has yielded valuable insights, contributing to the calibration of the project's geophysical model. Although uranium mineralization was not found in every drill hole, the data collected will be pivotal for future targeting and exploration strategies.

The Dorado Project's Significance


The Dorado Project stands as the flagship endeavor of the 50/50 joint venture between IsoEnergy and Purepoint, covering over 98,000 hectares of prime uranium exploration territory. The project includes former mining properties that are believed to have geological formations conducive to uranium deposition. This makes Dorado an exciting prospect in the search for high-grade uranium deposits.

With recent drilling efforts confirming substantial radioactivity in multiple holes east of the Hurricane Deposit, both companies are eagerly anticipating further exploration opportunities that may arise from these findings. The shallower unconformity depths across the project facilitate efficient drilling, enabling quick follow-up on results.
