Exciting New Benefits: Docomo SMTB Bank Links to d-Account for Enhanced Banking Services

New Launch: Docomo SMTB Bank Collaborates with d-Account

On August 20, 2026, Docomo SMTB Bank, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, introduces a major enhancement by linking its banking services with d-Account. Customers can now enjoy exciting benefits such as earning d-Points when utilizing various banking transactions including salary deposits, direct debits, and debit card transactions.

Earning d-Points with d-Account Integration

By linking their bank account with d-Account, customers can benefit from d-Points earned from bank services and Docomo services. This feature aims to enhance customer engagement through various transactions. The accumulation of d-Points means greater rewards for users, allowing them to access discounts and offers across multiple Docomo platforms.

It’s important to note that connecting the d-Account is optional. Users can still access the banking services without linking their accounts. However, those who previously participated in the Smart Program, which provided benefits through Smart Points, will transition to earning d-Points once they link to d-Account. Existing Smart Points will also automatically convert to d-Points, ensuring a seamless transition.

Bank Branches Involved in the Program

The integrated benefits apply to specific bank branches, each named after fruits, desserts, or marine life. For example, you can find branches like Strawberry (101), Donut (110), and Dolphin (207) participating in this initiative. However, please note that the program is not applicable to BaaS partnerships or corporate accounts.

Enhanced Rewards with Banking Transactions

Customers will earn d-Points by using a variety of banking services. Transactions involving salary or pension deposits, as well as direct debits, will lead to d-Point accumulation. Additionally, based on the identified rank under the Smart Program, debit card users can earn d-Points as well. The Smart Program offers exclusive benefits such as fee waivers and opportunities to accumulate points, tailored to how customers use their products and services.

Using The Accumulated d-Points

The d-Points earned can be redeemed across several services, especially when using d-Payment. However, these points cannot be utilized for payments made through the Docomo SMTB Bank-issued debit card. For full details on point eligibility and other specific transactions, customers can consult the Docomo SMTB Bank's website.

Increased Point Redemption Rates

By designating their primary account as the withdrawal account for d-Card and meeting specified conditions, customers can increase their d-Payment or d-Card point redemption rates to as high as 3.0% in the first year. Moreover, if certain conditions with Monex Securities are fulfilled, users may enjoy an additional bonus on their redemption rate of 1.5%. It’s essential to adhere to application conditions to avail these benefits.

Annual Fee Reimbursements in d-Points

Those who meet specific conditions regarding their account balances can receive d-Points equivalent to the full annual fee of their d-Card. Again, detailed eligibility requirements will be provided separately on the bank's website.

Celebrate with the 'Docomo Bank Birth Festival'

Starting from August 3, 2026, Docomo SMTB Bank is celebrating with the 'Docomo Bank Birth Festival' campaign, offering an array of beneficial promotions. To access these rewards, customers will need to link their d-Account.

Docomo SMTB Bank is committed to prioritizing customer satisfaction and continuously innovating financial services by integrating the latest technologies. The goal is to harmonize convenience with security, leading towards a future where financial and lifestyle boundaries seamlessly blend. This ensures a refreshing variety of new values and opportunities for users.
