SpiderPlus Collaborates with Miura Electric
On September 30, 2026, SpiderPlus Inc., a company providing construction DX services, announced a collaboration with Miura Electric Co., Ltd. to conduct a hands-on experience class for high school students at the Fukushima Prefectural Nakoso Technical High School in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture.
The initiative features the installation of three virtual electric construction sites on the school grounds, each spanning about 25 square meters. Under Miura Electric's guidance, students will simulate real construction tasks, starting from hazard prediction activities, material transportation, layout marking, to installation and testing of electrical equipment.
During the training, students will be divided into two groups: the 'construction side' and the 'construction management side'. The latter will employ SpiderPlus's construction DX services to track and document each working phase through photographs while ensuring safety, quality, and deadlines—the essential functions of construction management.
This program aims to address the pressing labor shortages in the construction sector by immersing students in near-real work environments, enhancing their understanding of construction and management roles, while encouraging them to consider future career paths in the industry.
Creating a Virtual Electric Construction Site
Thanks to the collaboration with Miura Electric, the practical training includes setting up a simulated electric construction environment that mimics actual job sites. Miura Electric's expertise contributes significantly, from providing materials to designing the class curriculum based on actual construction processes.
Eighteen students will be divided into three groups of six, with support from 2-3 employees from Miura Electric in each group. This setup ensures comprehensive guidance from professionals during the initial hazard prediction activities, and the students will engage in realistic role allocations, enhancing the hands-on learning experience.
Main Activities Include:

Through these tasks, students will follow the flow of electrical construction work, from reviewing blueprints to execution and verification activities. They will learn about managing construction through four aspects: safety, blueprints, photography, and testing, using SpiderPlus to monitor the construction process effectively.
Participating students had previously taken the Second-Class Electrician Test in August, allowing them to tie their theoretical knowledge to practical experiences.
Bridging Schools, Local Businesses, and Construction DX
This collaboration is part of SpiderPlus's 'Future Talent Project', in partnership with local firms like Miura Electric that already use SpiderPlus's services locally. By amalgamating practical knowledge from construction management with specialized education from Nakoso Technical High School and SpiderPlus's construction DX offerings, the initiative aims to link students' education with real-life work experiences.
