Bandsintown Expands Concert Listings on Apple Music with iOS 26.4 Release

On March 31, 2026, Bandsintown, the leading global platform for discovering live music and events, announced an exciting new integration with Apple Music aimed at enhancing the concert discovery experience for fans. With the launch of iOS 26.4, Bandsintown concert listings will now be directly available on Apple Music, providing music lovers with unprecedented access to upcoming live performances.

This new feature will automatically showcase concert dates on Apple Music artist pages, in the Home tab, and in a dedicated 'Concerts' tab newly added to the search feature. Fans will now have a seamless way to discover live music events happening around the world. In this modern era, where live performances are increasingly important to artists' engagement with their fans, this integration offers an invaluable tool for both artists and concertgoers.

The functionality works by allowing artists to link their Apple Music artist page to the Bandsintown for Artists dashboard. Once connected, any upcoming events will be synchronized and reflected within 24 to 48 hours across the Apple Music platform, ensuring that fans have access to the latest concert information.

The artist pages will now feature a dedicated section displaying 'Upcoming Concerts', showing when their favorite artists are on tour. Moreover, the new 'Concerts' tab enables fans to filter events by location, genre, and date, making it easier than ever to find live music that matches their preferences.

Details about events, including venue information, set lists, and direct ticket purchasing links, will be accessible, allowing fans to prepare for their concert experience fully. Additionally, Apple Music will keep users engaged by sending push notifications whenever the artists they follow are performing nearby, ensuring that they never miss out on the chance to see their favorite acts.

This integration not only builds upon Bandsintown's existing role in providing live event data across Apple’s ecosystem, which includes platforms like Shazam, Apple Maps, and Spotlight Search, but also enhances the immediacy of connecting artists with their fans. The synchronization allows artists to reach their audiences precisely when engagement is highest — as fans listen and explore on Apple Music.

'Bandsintown has been supporting the Apple ecosystem with concert offerings for years,' says Fabrice Sergent, co-founder and Managing Partner of Bandsintown. 'Expanding into Apple Music gives all artists worldwide a direct line to their fans, showcasing their shows right when they are most eager to see them live.'

Currently, the concert listings feature is active for devices running iOS 26.4, which is in the public beta phase and will soon be rolled out more widely. Bandsintown connects over 100 million registered fans with concerts from more than 700,000 artists and 65,000 venues, publishing 2.3 million events annually. Through strategic partnerships with major platforms, Bandsintown ensures live music events reach billions of additional fans on their preferred services.

The award-winning Bandsintown Concerts app and website give users access to the largest catalog of live music events worldwide, leveraging AI to offer personalized concert recommendations based on listening habits. With tools offered by Bandsintown for Artists, musicians can easily announce events, manage sales, and promote concerts on their digital platforms using integrated widgets and APIs.

For venues, festivals, and promoters, Bandsintown Pro provides automated marketing and distribution solutions to enhance event visibility across digital platforms, saving time and ultimately leading to increased ticket sales. With this integration with Apple Music, Bandsintown is set to redefine how fans discover and engage with live music in the digital age.
