As the countdown to the 4th All Japan SASSEN Championship approaches its one-month mark, the All Japan SASSEN Association, under the leadership of President Takuma Motomura, is thrilled to announce that Kirana Resort has been designated as the Gold Partner for this prestigious event, scheduled for June 14, 2026.
Kirana Resort, a newly established company under Maruhan East Japan Company, has rapidly gained recognition for its comprehensive entertainment offerings, primarily centered around pachinko halls. Since its inception in August 2022, Kirana Resort has introduced innovative venues such as the Kirana Garden Toyosu, which features an all-weather BBQ facility inspired by Ibiza, Spain. Boasting a remarkable cumulative visitor count exceeding 390,000, this complex provides a new outdoor dining and leisure style that caters to families, couples, and children alike. With meticulous planning and operations, Kirana Resort has built a multifaceted entertainment facility that promotes joy and relaxation.
The BBQ area spans approximately 1,000 seats and includes indoor cabins for year-round luxury experiences, as well as outdoor sites reminiscent of high-end restaurant terraces. There are also a 450㎡ grassy green area and a 150㎡ dog run, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy quality time with their pets in a unique setting conducive to relaxation from daily life.
Starting in August 2024, Kirana Resort will launch 'NINJA + KABUKI TOKYO' in Shinjuku, aimed at international tourists visiting Japan. This performance merges the essence of ninjas and the aesthetic of Kabuki with advanced light, sound, and video technology to offer a captivating experience that embodies 'Authentic Japan × Entertainment.' This is not a simple tourism show but instead a pursuit of genuine Japanese culture, poised for global expansion as a strong cultural brand. The overall direction of 'NINJA + KABUKI TOKYO' is overseen by Denjiro Tanaka, a renowned Kabuki musician with significant experience, including an appearance at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics’ opening ceremony. His vast backgrounds in traditional arts and modern stagecraft lend depth to the production, aiming to express narratives through sound, movement, and spatial artistry.
Since its launch in August 2024, 'NINJA + KABUKI TOKYO' has already attracted over 25,000 visitors, with 99% of attendees hailing from Europe, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The name 'Kiranah,' derived from Sanskrit, means 'light' or 'path of light.'
