Mr. Goyal will lead the Portfolio Support Group, which consists of a dedicated team of professionals focused on executing a specialized value creation model. This model allows Percheron's portfolio companies to achieve leading organic growth and increased M&A activity. The Portfolio Support Group is segmented into different Centers of Excellence, which include Talent, Technology and AI Enablement, Portfolio M&A, Post-Merger Integration, Go-To-Market Acceleration, and the Office of the CFO. His responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with the CEOs of portfolio companies to expedite growth and maximize long-term value.
With over 25 years of extensive experience in private equity, technology, operations, and consulting, Mr. Goyal is poised to make a substantial impact at Percheron. Prior to his current role, he served as an Operating Partner at Berkshire Partners, where he oversaw value creation initiatives within the software and tech-enabled services sectors while spearheading AI enablement efforts across the entire portfolio. He has also held the position of Group Chief Strategy Officer at Singtel, where he directed the corporate strategy and M&A for a business serving over 750 million mobile customers worldwide. His previous stint at McKinsey & Company as a Partner in the Marketing and Sales practice highlighted his expertise, focusing on global revenue analytics. He began his professional journey as a software design engineer at Microsoft Corporation, establishing a solid foundation in technology.
