Chun Shui Tang, the pioneer of bubble tea hailing from Taiwan, is set to launch a delightful summer menu starting June 2, 2026. This Taiwanese café, operated by Oasis Tea Lounge based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will offer an array of limited-time seasonal dishes, including the much-anticipated Watermelon Bubble Milk Tea and Watermelon Milk Tea, alongside refreshing cold noodles that are a staple in Taiwanese cuisine.
Refreshing Watermelon Drinks
After last summer’s rapid sell-out of their watermelon drinks, Chun Shui Tang has made improvements to the recipe for this year’s offerings. Drawing inspiration from the traditional Taiwanese summer drink called “Watermelon Milk,” these beverages combine fresh watermelon puree with jasmine tea and milk, creating a light, sweet flavor that is simply irresistible. The secret touch of salt enhances the natural taste of the watermelon, making you want to gulp it down. With more jasmine tea and watermelon puree used in the recipe compared to last year, both the Watermelon Bubble Milk Tea and Watermelon Milk Tea promise an even fresher taste, ensuring customers can choose their preferred style.
Authentic Cold Noodles from Taiwan
In addition to the watermelon beverages, Chun Shui Tang introduces two types of cold noodle dishes, a popular local delicacy in Taiwan. "Lemon Soy Milk Cold Noodles," back for its fourth consecutive year, tops creamy soy milk with tender steamed chicken and zesty fresh lemon, delivering a flavor profile that is hard to resist. Finished with black pepper, this dish offers a delightful contrast to the rich broth, making it a fan-favorite.
Also making its debut is the "Chilled Soy Milk Spicy Noodle Soup," perfect for summer heat with its inviting spicy aroma. Infused with fragrant spices, this dish balances the heat with the creaminess of soy milk. Topped with crunchy bean sprouts, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and a boiled egg, it provides a satisfying meal for those craving something hearty yet refreshing.
As the summer heats up with predictions of soaring temperatures, Chun Shui Tang aims to provide a cool respite through its delicious seasonal menu.
