IDOL BATTLE ALIVE is a groundbreaking competition that goes beyond typical idol performances. In this event, idols select their own songs, design lighting, create costumes, and even arrange stage props, presenting a complete artistic vision for their performances. The focus is on holistic artistry, as each group aims to achieve maximum performance quality by controlling every aspect of their showcase.

The inaugural event in 2025 saw OCHA NORMA, a group from Hello! Project, take home the championship and the 5 million yen prize. IDOL BATTLE ALIVE 2026 will take place at Toyosu PIT, with all preliminary rounds culminating in a thrilling grand finale on the same day. Only the best groups that succeed in the qualifiers will earn a chance to compete for the top idol title. The evaluation criteria consist of five key aspects: vocal ability, performance skills, expressiveness, stage production, and idol charisma, judged by a panel of experts.

The reigning champions will be awarded not only the grand prize of 5 million yen, but also the chance to produce their own show on Lemino. Moreover, a special award, carrying a 1 million yen prize, will be granted to the group that shines the brightest throughout the competition.
