The Underwater Drone Forum 2025: An Overview
On October 3, 2025, the Japan Underwater Drone Association hosted the prestigious "Underwater Drone Forum 2025" at Akihabara UDX Gallery. The event attracted over 150 participants from various governmental, academic, and industry sectors, filling the venue to capacity. With a focus on the future societal implementation of underwater drones, the forum served as a platform for intense discussions and networking.
A Star-Studded Opening Session
The forum kicked off with a welcome speech by Yoshihiro Kobayashi, the Chairman of the Japan Underwater Drone Association. He provided insights into the association's journey since its establishment. Following his speech, esteemed guests took the stage, including:
