Keith Hamilton Takes the Helm of Georgia-Pacific’s Corrugated Business



In a significant leadership change, Georgia-Pacific has announced that Keith Hamilton has been appointed as the president of its Corrugated business division. Hamilton, who previously served as the vice president of operations for the company, will now oversee the commercial teams and operations across 35 different facilities, which include box plants, sheet feeders, and specialized operations like Hummingbird® digital print and EarthKraft® mailers.

A Journey of Commitment and Experience



Hamilton's journey with Georgia-Pacific began in 2018 when he took on the role of regional area operations leader within the Corrugated segment. Over the years, he has showcased his expertise by holding various operational roles, significantly contributing to the advancement of the company's safety initiatives and organizational culture. Before his tenure at Georgia-Pacific, he honed his skills working with General Motors Corporation and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Additionally, Hamilton is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he worked as a nuclear plant operator on submarines.

These roles reflect his commitment to fostering industry standards and promoting continuous improvement in safety and operational excellence.

Hamilton holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Florida State University and further advanced his academic credentials with master's degrees in mechanical engineering and management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
