SHEIN Launches Comprehensive Product Safety and Compliance Training for Global Sellers

SHEIN, the global online fashion and lifestyle brand, has recently announced the launch of a new training program focused on product safety and quality compliance for its marketplace sellers in Japan and worldwide. Collaborating with leading third-party testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) organizations such as Bureau Veritas, Intertek, SGS, and TÜV SÜD, SHEIN aims to equip its sellers with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the ever-evolving compliance regulations across various markets.

The program was publicly announced on June 11, with the first session scheduled for May 29, 2026, concentrating on 'Product Safety and Quality Compliance for Children’s Toys.' This session will be presented via live streaming by TIC partner companies. For those unable to attend live, a recorded version will be made available on the Seller Education Hub, SHEIN’s dedicated learning portal for sellers, providing easy access to educational resources.

This online hub serves as a centralized platform where merchants can find comprehensive compliance guidelines, reference materials, and education courses necessary for conducting business on SHEIN. It contains critical information related to product safety requirements, restricted or prohibited items, quality standards, intellectual property protection, and operational compliance during listing procedures, daily operations, and more. Furthermore, the portal offers hundreds of online compliance courses in various multimedia formats, including brief videos, live broadcasts, and interactive learning modules that assess practical knowledge and operational capabilities.

A representative from SHEIN stated, 'This training program embodies our commitment to maintaining product safety and quality compliance across all stages of our business.' The initiative aligns with SHEIN's strategic goal to enhance its technological adaptability while expanding its compliance review team and strengthening partnerships with leading third-party inspection agencies. The company's mission is to ensure that consumers receive safe, reliable, and enjoyable shopping experiences globally.

For the current year, SHEIN plans to further bolster its multi-faceted governance framework centered on rigorous product safety and quality compliance. This improvement strategy will include enhanced qualification criteria, multi-layered screening processes, ongoing monitoring and feedback loops for continuous enhancement, and stricter enforcement of rules. Moreover, there are plans to invest in AI-powered monitoring and risk detection systems to complement human reviews, ensuring a robust compliance structure.

Additionally, SHEIN Japan representatives noted that the training program is open to all partners and allows domestic sellers to log in anytime to access learning materials. This structured understanding of compliance knowledge and operational norms will pave the way for Japanese sellers to enhance their capacities and carve out significant opportunities in the extensive global marketplace, leveraging SHEIN's established sales network covering 160 countries.

SHEIN, operated by ROADGET BUSINESS PTE. LTD., is a global fashion and lifestyle brand that provides services across more than 160 countries and regions, as of the end of February 2026.
