Open Forum: Educational Practices Through Dialogue
The Center for Dialogue-based Educational Practices (CoDE), established by Kanko Gakuseifuku Co., Ltd., is currently accepting applications for the 2nd Open Forum on "What is Educational Practice Through Dialogue?" This significant event will take place on February 23, 2026, at Keio University’s Mita Campus in Tokyo.
In a time when Japan faces declining birth rates and increasing diversity of values, the focus of education is shifting. It is no longer only about "what to teach" but also increasingly about "how to engage with others and learn together." At the heart of this shift lies the concept of "dialogue." This forum will feature eminent speakers, including Dr. Peter M. Senge, author of
The Fifth Discipline, and Dr. Lobsang Tenzin Negi, a leading figure in compassion-based education. Together with a range of domestic and international experts, attendees will delve deeply into knowledge and practical applications, aiming to inspire new learnings and relationships across schools, businesses, and communities.
