Toyota City is a hub for numerous manufacturers that support the automotive industry, which is currently experiencing dramatic shifts due to the advent of CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric) technologies and rapid advancements in AI. As local companies face the dual challenge of maintaining existing operations while also cultivating new revenue streams for the future, there is a pressing need for support.

Many firms express uncertainty, stating, “We have the technical expertise; however, we are unsure how to pivot this into new business opportunities.” SPARK aims to ignite the first step—providing a platform for companies to discover and nurture new business ideas.

AlphaDrive has an impressive track record, having supported over 23,800 business creation initiatives across 260 companies and 30 prefectures. The practical program will involve active mentorship to refine business and collaboration plans. An expected number of around ten companies will be selected, each receiving at least one mentor.

• - Hands-on assistance in employing generative AI techniques for business development.

Firms interested in applying do not need to have fully developed business ideas; they can explore themes and concepts during the initial consultation phase. The application process involves a pre-consultation followed by formal submission via an online application form.
