Huawei's Third Global Summit: Visionaries for a Greener Future in Industry



Huawei Digital Power has made significant strides in shaping a more sustainable future by hosting its third global summit for commercial and industrial visionaries. This four-day event gathered over 800 participants from 50 countries, underscoring the global commitment to integrating green technologies and solutions into various sectors.

The summit, encompassing sessions titled Dawn and Horizon, provided a platform for thought leaders and innovators to explore the cultural values, strategies, and new product launches driving low-carbon development. The event also highlighted successful case studies in the adoption of clean energy solutions.

During the summit, Zhou Jianjun, Vice President of Huawei and President of Global Marketing, Sales, and Services at Huawei Digital Power, emphasized the housing and commercial-usage sectors' leadership in transitioning to clean energy sources. He noted that Huawei is enhancing its capabilities and assisting partners by offering cost-effective photovoltaic systems and energy storage solutions (ESS), aimed at revolutionizing energy consumption.

Xia Hesheng, Chief Marketing Officer of Huawei Digital Power, stressed the importance of customer-centered approaches, perseverance, and quality assurance throughout a product's lifecycle. He underscored the focus on collaboration with global partners to achieve operational excellence.

In line with this, Jack Tong, President of Marketing and Sales for residential and commercial applications at Huawei, introduced the Huawei FusionSolar CI strategy and new product offerings. This strategy features the One-Fits-All 2.0 solution, which significantly reduces the Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE), ensuring safe and reliable energy from generation to consumption, thereby enhancing the Levelized Benefit of Electricity (LBOE).

Furthermore, Allen Zeng, President of Maintenance and Operations at Huawei Digital Power, explained how service teams unite equipment and services to deliver superior quality and reliable operation. The goal is to guarantee the long-term success of installations.

Experts presented tailored solutions leveraging AI technology for projects of all sizes, encompassing PV, ESS, and charging technologies. They shared insights, strategies, use cases, and marketing methodologies to empower global visionaries.

Participants, including 14 global visionaries, shared practical applications involving supermarkets, hotels, cold chains, logistics, and manufacturing, highlighting success stories from around the world. Some examples include:
  • - In the Netherlands, fire services benefited from a more sustainable energy supply.
  • - A beverage factory in Myanmar improved efficiency and cut costs.
  • - A business park in Germany overcame transformation challenges, achieving operational excellence.
  • - A Pakistani hospital secured stable year-round electricity supply, enhancing safety.
  • - A Chilean factory maintained uninterrupted production at reduced electricity costs.
  • - Brazil and Kenya showcased reliable energy provision and accessibility to clean energy in schools, fostering a green education environment.

The discussions prompted inclusive access to energy solutions, fostering a green transformation and high-quality growth throughout industries. The can-do spirit reflected during the summit, aligned with Huawei Digital Power's principles of openness and joint success, aims to deepen partnerships and drive the industry's sustainable development.
