Aramco Asia Japan Initiates Support for Key Organizations

On September 10, 2026, Aramco Asia Japan (AAJ), located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, announced its partnership with two organizations—STEM Academy and the Non-Profit Organization Marine History Institute—to support initiatives focused on the development of future talent and marine conservation. This marks a significant step for AAJ in addressing social issues and contributing towards a sustainable future in Japan.

Supported Organizations and Their Initiatives

1. STEM Academy (SA)

STEM Academy focuses on children and young adults aged 6 to 19 through its Formula 1® supported STEM education program called “STEM Racing.” Participants get hands-on experience in designing, building, and competing with small racing cars, fostering important skills in engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving.

As part of the “Aramco STEM Global Citizenship Program,” AAJ is supporting “Aramco Next-Gen STEM Racing Japan.” The project aims to broaden program availability across Japan, thus providing more young people with practical learning opportunities and nurturing the innovators of tomorrow.

From June 12 to 14, 2026, the first-ever national competition, “STEM Racing Japan National Finals 2026,” took place at the Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB). The winning and runner-up teams earned the opportunity to compete in the world championship scheduled for October 2026 in Singapore.

2. Marine History Institute (MLC)

MLC engages in comprehensive research and education about marine environments, biodiversity, and the connections between people and nature, operating primarily from Okinawa.
