The ongoing shift in Europe toward a decarbonized energy system is profound. The New Additions to TRC's Team
Among the latest additions to TRC are Frank Jacobs and Bas Kruimer. Jacob's impressive 23-year career spans various leadership positions within European Distribution System Operators (DSOs), Transmission System Operators (TSOs), and generation companies. He specializes in digitalization strategies, grid operations, renewables integration, and more. His previous engagements include renowned firms such as Accenture and DNV.
Conversely, Bas Kruimer, now serving as the Director and Practice Lead for IT/OT Integration at TRC, brings over 35 years of extensive experience. His respected background includes key roles at prestigious organizations, including ABB Network Control and Protection and Accenture Smart Grids. This wealth of knowledge positions Kruimer to effectively lead initiatives that bridge IT and operational technologies.
Both Jacobs and Kruimer will report to Pim Spierenburg, TRC's Chief Operating Officer for EMEA. Spierenburg, who joined TRC after a distinguished career in energy infrastructure and smart grid innovation, brings a wealth of experience that will undoubtedly contribute to TRC's aspirations in Europe.
Participation in Enlit Europe 2025
