AI's Impact on Revenue Growth: 77% of Organizations Report Gains Amid Early Adoption Stages

AI Revolutionizing Revenue Enablement

A recent study by Allego, a frontrunner in AI-powered revenue enablement solutions, has unveiled significant insights into the impact of artificial intelligence on organizational revenues. According to the research, a remarkable 77% of organizations have experienced tangible revenue growth thanks to the integration of AI technologies. Moreover, 88% of executives indicate plans to increase their investment in AI over the next year, emphasizing the increasing trust in AI’s potential to drive business success.

The 2026 AI in Revenue Enablement Report illustrates how AI transforms various aspects of the revenue lifecycle. Notably, 84% of revenue leaders surveyed reported that AI-driven coaching tools, particularly AI role-play simulations, have notably enhanced coaching quality. Furthermore, 83% said they saw a reduction in onboarding time for new sales representatives, while 73% acknowledged that AI helped shorten sales cycles.

As AI continues to penetrate the revenue landscape, its reshaping role in marketing is also noteworthy. An astonishing 87% of leaders in the survey reported that AI has amplified marketing's contribution to the sales pipeline. Interestingly, 53% recognized marketing as a vital player in initiating AI-driven enablement strategies. One key area of success is the generation of sales content; 83% of marketing leaders stated that AI has significantly streamlined the content creation process.

The research further identifies a growing interest in agentic AI, with over half of the participants reporting that they either utilize or are piloting AI systems capable of recommending actions or completing tasks like generating content, assigning training, or initiating follow-up activities. This trend signifies a move beyond basic AI applications, as organizations begin to explore and adopt more advanced capabilities.

Despite these promising statistics, there remains a considerable pace of progress required for organizations in utilizing AI effectively. Approximately 63% of respondents admitted they are still in the nascent stages of AI adoption. This finding suggests that many businesses have significant opportunities for scaling AI across various workflows and operational models.

Yuchun Lee, CEO and co-founder of Allego, conveyed, "The conversation has evolved from whether organizations should adopt AI to how effectively they can convert AI capabilities into positive business outcomes." He elaborated that organizations witnessing promising results are doing so by employing AI tools that enable marketers to create more relevant content, assist enablement teams in scaling coaching and onboarding processes, and help sales teams engage with customers more effectively.

Kristin Krajewski, Sales Effectiveness Team Lead at Equitable, shared a success story: "Initially, our focus was on leveraging AI for time-saving and automating routine tasks. Now, we utilize AI to enhance our team's learning, coaching, and customer engagements. The embedded nature of AI in our workflows extends the benefits beyond mere productivity, boosting overall performance in our revenue organization."

The latest findings from the report suggest that revenue teams are entering a new chapter in AI utilization. Despite current benefits observed in coaching, content creation, management, onboarding, and overall sales effectiveness, teams must engage in more substantial efforts to fully realize AI's transformative potential. This requires integrating AI within workflows instead of simply layering it on top of existing processes, ensuring it becomes an intrinsic component of operations.

The 2026 AI in Revenue Enablement Report is based on a survey conducted by the independent research agency TrendCandy, which gathered insights from 318 revenue enablement leaders across sales, marketing, enablement, and customer success departments in diverse industries.
