Asahi Kasei's Remarkable Performance at Global PRO Challenge 2025
Asahi Kasei Corporation, headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, proudly announces that its team has secured 5th place in the prestigious Global PRO Challenge 2025, an international supply chain management (SCM) competition held in November 2025. This remarkable achievement marks the second consecutive year that Asahi Kasei has finished in the top five, reinforcing its commitment to excellence in SCM.
The Global PRO Challenge is held annually and utilizes a business simulation educational program known as The Triple Connection (TTC), developed by Inchainge. It attracts over 300 corporate teams from around the globe. In this year’s world finals, 28 teams from 10 countries, which excelled in their respective regional qualifiers, gathered to compete over a span of ten days, managing a virtual company and showcasing their operational skills.
The team from Asahi Kasei's IT & DX division entered this year's competition with a mission to optimize supply chain processes through digital technologies, aiming to further enhance their SCM capabilities. The team, comprised mostly of young talents with an average age in their 20s, emerged victorious from the Japan qualifier, ultimately achieving a commendable 5th place at the global level. Last year, in their inaugural participation, Asahi Kasei entered two teams and finished 3rd and 5th, showing a strong trajectory of improvement.
Our participation in the Global PRO Challenge not only demonstrates our commitment to SCM excellence but also serves as a platform for continuous learning and development. The ongoing optimization and advancement of our supply chain operations are crucial as we strive for sustained growth and enhancement of our competitive edge in the industry.
