ABEC Inaugurates New Manufacturing Facility in Wilson, North Carolina

ABEC, a world leader in customized solutions and services for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, has announced the opening of its newest production facility in Wilson, North Carolina. The formal inauguration ceremony is scheduled for September 24, 2026, at 9:00 AM, where executives, employees, partners, and community leaders will gather to celebrate this milestone in ABEC's ongoing growth.

The new Wilson facility is set to expand ABEC's global manufacturing network and enhance the company's ability to support the rapidly growing biopharmaceutical industry with sector-leading integrated equipment, consumables, and process solutions. Strategically located in one of the fastest-growing biological science regions in the country, the plant will not only increase ABEC's manufacturing capacity but also create new high-quality technical job opportunities in Eastern North Carolina.

The Wilson facility will manufacture bioprocess equipment and consumables used in the development and production of biological products, vaccines, and other life-saving advanced therapies. This new facility complements ABEC's existing manufacturing operations in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Springfield, Missouri; Fermoy, Ireland; and Kells, Ireland, further reinforcing the company's position as the largest specialized manufacturing network for equipment and process solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry.

The grand opening will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, facility tours, and speeches from ABEC executives as well as local community representatives. The celebration will recognize the collaboration of employees, contractors, community partners, and local officials whose support made this project possible.
