Background and Purpose
As of 2023, approximately 11.6 million people, or 9.2% of Japan's population, have some form of disability. The demand for supportive employment services rises in response to this statistic, especially for people who may struggle to find jobs in traditional settings. Type B continuous employment support centers like DigiLumi provide crucial work opportunities, training, and development for individuals who are unable to secure traditional employment contracts.
Increasingly, people are choosing freelance careers, a trend evident in the fact that freelancers represented 22.8% of Japan's working population in 2020. As we delve deeper into the digital age, demand for creative skills, particularly in IT and related fields, continues to surge. Therefore, DigiLumi aims to carve out a space tailored to these needs while ensuring high-quality support for all individuals involved.
