Digireha Secures Funding to Expand Digital Rehabilitation Services and Introduces Talent Matching

In a significant milestone for the rehabilitation technology industry, Digireha, a Tokyo-based company, has announced the completion of its pre-Series A3 funding round as of February 26, 2026. This round, which includes contributions from both existing and new investors, has successfully raised approximately 840 million yen in total funding through third-party allocation of shares. The achieved funding represents a major advancement in the cumulative amount raised by the company, which now stands around 840 million yen when accounting for equity financing and loans.

Established in 2021, Digireha has developed and provided innovative digital rehabilitation tools that are now deployed in approximately 270 healthcare facilities nationwide. These include hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, after-school programs, senior care facilities, home nursing stations, and special needs schools, contributing to a growing demand in the healthcare, welfare, and education sectors. As of February 2026, the increasing adoption and sustained utilization of the Digireha services have led to continuous revenue growth, marking a significant achievement for the company.

Moreover, in November 2025, Digireha has ventured into the human resource sector by launching a talent matching service called "Digireha CAREER," which focuses on supporting part-time and freelance rehabilitation professionals, alongside a training program named "Digireha COLLEGE" aimed at fostering and developing this talent.

The shortage of specialized personnel in the fields of therapy, welfare, and rehabilitation has become a pressing issue. At the same time, there is a rising demand among professionals like physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists for more flexible working arrangements. Digireha seeks to bridge the gap between these two needs by enhancing its matching functions, ultimately addressing workforce shortages while facilitating the emergence of new career paths for specialized professionals.

The funds raised in this round are intended to accelerate the growth of Digireha in the domestic market, reinforcing the company's structural support for both its products and its workforce. This new investment underscores the commitment from several notable investors, including One Capital, Beta Venture Capital, and Denkyo Group Holdings, all of whom recognize the potential of Digireha's technology and its critical role in transforming rehabilitation practices.

One Capital's Co-founder and COO, Wataru Sakakura, expressed enthusiasm for the company’s forward trajectory, commending the ongoing evolution of its product and organizational structure. He highlighted the importance of redefining rehabilitation through technology, which goes beyond efficiency—it's about unlocking potential for those receiving therapy in a society increasingly burdened by an aging population and structural challenges in the medical and welfare sectors.

Similarly, Beta Venture Capital's representative, Reito Watanabe, remarked on the transition from a trial-and-error phase to a growth phase for Digireha, indicating confidence in the team’s ability to adapt and expand their reach.

The funds will be allocated primarily towards several strategic areas: expanding the number of adoption facilities, strengthening the support for specialized rehabilitation personnel, and enhancing product features and quality. Digireha is committed to its mission of creating a future unimpeded by disabilities, aiming to provide accessible, high-quality rehabilitation services for everyone, regardless of their circumstances.

Founder and CEO Yuki Oka remarked on the year of challenges and successes that have pushed the company towards rapid growth. With an increasing number of facilities adopting Digireha's services and a strong push for further expansion and innovation, Oka is optimistic about the future and encourages continued support from the community.
