The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) is excited to announce its fifth annual Rhythm on the River concert series, a much-loved event that invites everyone to enjoy a vibrant musical experience in the great outdoors. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Cuyahoga Valley National Park, this free concert series promises a blend of exceptional music and family-friendly fun. This year’s events will take place on three distinct dates: June 8, July 13, and August 10, at the scenic Howe Meadow located at 4040 Riverview Road in Peninsula, Ohio.

The concert series has a history of bringing together communities and attracting fans from all walks of life, and over the past four years, it has fostered an inviting atmosphere where more than 27,000 attendees have gathered to share in the joy of live music, delicious food truck offerings, and engaging field games. As we celebrate Ohio’s national park’s 50th anniversary, attendees can expect an even more special vibe in the air.

The lineup for this year’s Rhythm on the River is nothing short of exciting. Each concert starts at 3:30 PM and runs until 6:00 PM, with gates opening at 2:00 PM, allowing guests ample time to settle in, grab refreshments, and soak in the atmosphere. The confirmed schedule includes:

  • - June 8: Theron Brown Sextet featuring Open Tone Music
  • - July 13: Carlos Jones and The P.L.U.S. Band, accompanied by the Shaw High School Marching Band
  • - August 10: Nikki D and The Sisters of Thunder, presenting a lively performance with the Blakk Jakk Dance Collective

This eclectic mix of performances underscores the conservancy's commitment to promoting musical diversity and enhancing community connections through live art.
