Tourist Ship Association and

Traveler Behavior Standards, thereby promoting sustainable tourism.
Objectives of the Summit
The main aim of the Tourist Ship Summit is to raise awareness about the initiatives of the Tourist Ship and its activities. As this marks the fourth edition of the summit, attendees will be introduced to the groundbreaking Traveler Behavior Standards, a major accomplishment for the organization. The event offers a unique opportunity for those interested in tourism, community development, and innovation in travel to come together and exchange ideas. Chieko Tanaka
As the executive director of the Tourist Ship Association and the CEO of Tourist Ship Global Co., Ltd., Chieko Tanaka has made significant strides in sustainable tourism since founding the organization while studying at Kyoto University. In her journey as a social entrepreneur, she has secured a prominent contract with Dydo Drinco Co., Ltd. Tanaka is a trailblazer, becoming the only Japanese selected among nine young global leaders by DTTT for International Youth Day 2023.
