EZVIZ Joins the United Nations Global Compact, Commits to Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility

EZVIZ Embraces Sustainability through Global Compact

On April 22, 2026, a significant step was taken by EZVIZ, a leading name in the smart home industry, as it announced its membership in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). This decision marks a pivotal moment in EZVIZ's relentless journey toward long-term sustainability. By aligning its notable EZVIZ Green initiative with the Ten Principles set forth by the UNGC, the company is set to enhance its contributions to crucial environmental challenges.

The UN Global Compact is a call to action for businesses worldwide to adopt ten universal principles concerning human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. With participation from over 25,000 entities in 167 countries, the UNGC plays an influential role in ensuring a greener and cleaner planet.

Despite being newly inducted into this initiative, EZVIZ has already integrated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its strategies, operations, and management. This integration is further enhanced by the establishment of an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) committee headed by the company's board. Recently, on April 10, EZVIZ released its 2025 ESG report under the slogan "Our Planet. Our Actions," which promotes transparency and heightens awareness about environmental issues.

EZVIZ has garnered international accolades for its sustainable efforts, including the European Green Awards, the SEAL Sustainability Business Awards, and the Indigo Design Award for its initiative titled "Design for Social Change." The company's commitment to addressing environmental concerns such as soil degradation, global warming, and plastic recycling is unwavering. Through collaborative efforts with Treedom, EZVIZ has already planted 4,190 trees, which will help alleviate approximately 738.2 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere. Additionally, in partnership with Plastic Bank, the company has successfully stopped over a million plastic bottles from polluting sensitive areas of the environment. This endeavor is complemented by internal recycling processes and waste reduction practices.

In 2025, EZVIZ was proud to incorporate over 30 tons of recycled materials into the design of its RE7 Edge robotic vacuum cleaners and reduced CO2 emissions by 73.1 tons by using environmentally friendly packaging. Jingwen Cao, the Board Secretary of EZVIZ and head of the ESG committee, shared: "Joining the UNGC is a significant milestone for us. It indicates that our efforts for a better world are recognized on a global scale. This participation gives us the confidence to expand our environmental protection measures and set tougher boundaries to ensure that the environment is not sacrificed for the sake of commercial profits."
