FranklinCovey Japan's Global Day of Service
FranklinCovey Japan is set to hold its Global Day of Service on September 18, 2025, focusing on charitable donations and volunteer work. The company is dedicated to its mission of "unleashing the great potential in every individual and organization." However, awareness of hunger and food insecurity can hinder personal growth. To address this, the Global Day of Service aims to support individuals facing food shortages worldwide.
This year’s theme is
'End Hunger + Connect with others - Relief from hunger, synergistic opportunities, and changing consciousness.' In collaboration with the international NGO Hunger Free World, FranklinCovey Japan will commit to providing both donations and volunteer work. The company's CEO, William A. McIntyre Jr., advocates for a collective effort to alleviate hunger.
Call for Participation
Although the initiative primarily involves company employees, FranklinCovey Japan encourages clients and partners to join in this cause. All supporters are invited to contribute items for donation to Hunger Free World (HFW).
Donation Activities
FranklinCovey Japan will collect specific items for donation, which will be sent to HFW. The organization focuses on empowering communities to secure their basic right to food. HFW aims to ensure that individuals can independently obtain the necessary food to live healthily, which is one of the fundamental human rights.
About Hunger Free World (HFW)
Hunger Free World, with its headquarters in Japan, supports residents in countries like Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Uganda in achieving self-sufficiency. Their mission hinges on realizing the right to food.
