This launch coincides with the much-anticipated release of their new album, Foreign Tongues, under Capitol Records.

As part of this innovative approach, The Rolling Stones are collaborating with more than ten members from Roblox's global creator community to reimagine their famous logo, Lips and Tongue. Fans can look forward to virtual items for their avatars as well as limited edition real-world merchandise, offering a seamless transition from the digital landscape to tangible products. This integration promises a unique experience for all fans eager to celebrate the band's rich legacy.

The game is co-developed by Roblox's Innovation Studio, alongside the creative agency Sawhorse, and this project aspires to transform the 60-year musical journey of The Rolling Stones into an engaging interactive experience tailored for a new generation. Players will navigate through vibrant crystal landscapes inspired by their 2023 album, Hackney Diamonds, unlocking the band's historical milestones, with iconic songs providing the soundtrack to their exploration.

While searching for crystals, players will collaborate with others to break them apart, leading to the formation of the massive Lips logo, which empowers players, unleashing the sheer energy of rock 'n' roll as they break down barriers across eras, unlocking new challenges along the way. The climax of this journey will be an interactive performance that evolves in real-time, ensuring all community members can feel connected and engaged.

This game will take place inside The Block, a permanent entertainment area within Roblox where artists team up with creators to forge interactive experiences. As players immerse themselves in the legends and daring spirit of The Rolling Stones, they will earn exclusive rewards and powers inspired by the band’s musical journey. Between July 17 and 19, an extraordinary finale show is planned, allowing players to travel through different musical eras. Each hour will highlight a different period in the Stones' career, underscored by a rotation of their classic hits, accompanied by dynamic animations, lighting, and effects that culminate in an extravagant interactive art display.

For this landmark project, Roblox has invited skilled community creators to transform The Rolling Stones' beloved logo into exclusive accessories for avatars while crafting limited-edition co-branded real goods. Integrated via Shopify, fans will be able to directly purchase items from the band's official online store, erasing the boundaries between virtual and physical merchandise.

Designers from around the world, such as Jazzyx3, CASKA’s HAUS, and Blizzei, have come together to lend their unique styles to breathe new life into the classic logo.
