Georgia Clean Energy Roadshow: A New Era in Fleet Solutions
The 15th edition of the Georgia Clean Energy Roadshow, organized by PSC Commissioner Tim Echols and Event Energy Partners, is upcoming on August 12, 2025. This annual event aims to offer a comprehensive educational platform on the advancements in alternative fuel vehicles, specifically designed for municipal and commercial fleets. The roadshow features three consecutive stops in key cities: Savannah, Macon, and Lawrenceville.
The series will commence at Savannah Technical College’s Eckburg Auditorium and will continue to Macon at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission conference facilities on August 13, concluding at Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville on August 14. Admission is free for eligible fleets and government representatives, although prior registration is mandatory through the

Features of the Event
At each tour stop, Commissioner Echols will spearhead dynamic panel discussions featuring notable industry suppliers. These discussions will center on the latest technologies and practical applications that are revolutionizing fleet operations and public charging. In addition, there will be an outdoor showcase featuring a variety of vehicles powered by Electric (EV), Hydrogen Fuel Cell (FCV), Custom Natural Gas (CNG), and Propane.
Noteworthy models on display include Rivian’s all-electric R1T pickup truck, R1S SUV, as well as KIA’s latest electric vehicles, such as the EV6 and the three-row EV9, which are locally assembled in Westpoint, Georgia.
Insights and Presentations
As the event unfolds, Cox Automotive will share insights into the latest market trends and economic data regarding electric vehicles. Additionally, representatives from Savannah Tech, Central Georgia Tech, and Gwinnett Tech will present their workforce development programs aimed at preparing future employees in the E-Mobility sector.
Georgia Power will kick off the roundtable on EV Charging Technologies, discussing innovative programs and rebates available for establishing charging stations. Collaborative presentations from Blue Bird, Yancey Bus, Alliance Autogas, and Bibb County Schools will highlight the effective use of Propane AutoGas in sectors ranging from K-12 education to transit and agriculture. The Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia and Atlanta Gas Light will also shed light on the increasing utilization of Natural Gas in heavy-duty vehicles and the creation of Renewable Natural Gas in collaboration with local dairy farms.
Moreover, attendees will hear success stories from Dekalb County fleets, which have gained national recognition for their innovative Waste to Fuel operations. Hyundai, alongside HydroFleet, will unveil their new partnership aimed at producing, storing, and using Hydrogen fuel for their fleet of fuel cell vehicles operating at the Hyundai Metaplant in Bryan County.
