Lifestance EXPO 2026: A Journey of Connection and Choice
PARADE Inc., based in Nara, Japan, is organizing the third iteration of its pop-up event, Lifestance EXPO, from January 30 to February 1, 2026, at KOkuyo's Tokyo Shinagawa office, THE CAMPUS. This year’s theme is "Connecting, Stopping, and Choosing the Future," aimed at prompting attendees to reflect on their daily choices in buying and working and to articulate what they want to connect with and what they wish to let go.
A New Era of Value
PARADE operates as a community of organizations committed to developing good companies. Currently, it involves 18 companies working together to foster an awareness of consumption and production that serves both individuals and brands. Instead of merely endorsing lifestyles, there is a growing recognition that meaningful behaviors and altruism, which shape our life stances, tie together businesses and individuals.
These elements form the foundation of what we term the Lifestance Economy, a fresh perspective on economic interaction that cherishes shared resources and promotes a vision for the planet and future generations. Each small choice holds significant value and intention, and our goal is to cultivate these subtle wills into a broader movement, celebrating personal choices and companies’ genuine efforts.
In the new quarter-century that lies ahead, it’s crucial to pause and reflect on the essence of these choices. Every iteration has explored pivotal themes, from consumption in the first year to working experiences in the second. This year’s focus invites attendees to contemplate their connections and decide on meaningful exclusions. These countless small decisions ultimately shape our futures. A momentary halt is essential for assessing our true aspirations.
