What We Offer at Our Booth
Our booth will feature three prominent services, each designed to harness the power of data for improved urban planning, disaster management, and tourism enhancement:
1.
National Mobility Statistics: Gain insights into the movements of
120 million people across Japan, categorized by mode of transportation. This data is crucial for understanding traffic flow and optimizing infrastructure.
2.
National Inbound Statistics: Analyzing the movement patterns and stay locations of international visitors to Japan, this tool helps businesses and regions pinpoint opportunities to enhance tourist experiences.
3.
National Arrival and Absence Statistics: By linking search data with movement data, we inform clients about those who did not visit, providing an understanding of the contributing factors.
Moreover, during our booth at the
Tourism EXPO, attendees will have the opportunity to meet our technical staff and gain a deeper understanding of how these solutions can drive success in the tourism landscape.
TABIRIN: A Cycling Information Media
We'll also showcase
TABIRIN, our information media dedicated to providing valuable and pleasant resources for everyone who enjoys cycling while traveling. TABIRIN caters to cyclists of all levels and connects them with essential resources including:
- - Cycling routes across Japan
- - Information on bike-friendly facilities
- - Rental bike services
Additionally, we have developed a user-friendly app that displays nearby cycling information on maps, making trip planning effortless.
Municipalities and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) can leverage TABIRIN for promoting local cycling events and organizing stamp rallies, enhancing community engagement through cycling tourism.
Introducing the Michi-no-Eki Seseraginosato Koura
On the public days, we will highlight our designated management facility,
Michi-no-Eki Seseraginosato Koura, which has seen significant improvements in its offerings since its establishment in 2015. We now feature a stone oven pizza take-out service and the first dog run in the Shiga area. We work collaboratively with local businesses and producers to develop travel packages, promote tourism, and create new local products using regional ingredients.
Visitors can participate in our exciting lottery event on September 27 and 28 and have the chance to win local specialties by answering a simple survey at our booth. This activity aims to familiarize attendees with various destinations and products across Japan, contributing to the planning of their next travel adventure.
