On the morning of October 15, 2025, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, visited the Government of Sharjah Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025. The event, themed "Powered by Tech, Driven by People," showcased the digital transformation initiatives by 20 governmental entities at the Dubai World Trade Centre, emphasizing Sharjah's vision for a tech-driven future grounded in human-centric values.

During the visit, Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi was briefed on the latest innovative digital experiences and technology-driven projects presented by the participating government departments. These initiatives focus on enhancing digital integration in Sharjah, improving government efficiency, and boosting the quality of life for its citizens. The showcased projects reflect the Emirate's aspiration to shape a sustainable, people-oriented digital future.

The pavilion was organized around four core ecosystems: Digital Experiences, Ecological Sustainability, Smart Cities, and Our Humanity. Each ecosystem illustrated proactive solutions designed to demonstrate seamless collaboration among governmental entities using artificial intelligence and data connectivity. Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi emphasized the importance of these initiatives in promoting innovation and sustainability within the community.

Furthermore, His Excellency participated in the activities of the Sharjah Digital Hackathon, an initiative launched by the Sharjah Digital Department in collaboration with the Rubu' Qarn Center for Science and Technology and the Sharjah Youth Council. This initiative aims to fortify Sharjah’s innovation ecosystem, encouraging youth participation and talent development in the governmental sector and advancing the creation of AI-driven solutions to enhance urban infrastructure and the efficiency of government services.

As part of the "Digital Experiences" segment, the Sharjah Digital Department introduced the Digital Sharjah Assistant, an interactive, text-and-voice-based AI assistant operating in real time. This tool allows users to easily access information and complete selected government transactions through a conversational interface, greatly improving user experience.

Additionally, Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi explored the Aqari platform, a comprehensive digital hub that centralizes real estate services throughout the Emirate. The platform connects various businesses through a unified gateway, providing accurate and reliable real estate data and enhancing customer experience.

He also inspected the Nabni platform, designed to unify communities across Sharjah to streamline construction processes through artificial intelligence. This system aims to revolutionize how building applications are managed, improving responsiveness and efficiency.

Moreover, Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi reviewed Empower Gov AI, a unified AI tool intended to empower public sector employees by integrating AI functionalities into their daily tasks. This tool connects multiple government bodies, automating internal requests, managing access permissions, and enhancing overall productivity across various departments.

The visit highlights the commitment and forward-thinking vision of Sharjah to harness the power of technology for societal benefit, showcasing the emirate as a leader in digital innovation in the region.
