The EU OLIVE OIL project is spearheaded by the O.P. Associazione Olivicola Cosentina, an organization that has been representing olive producers in the Cosenza area since 1982. Funded by the European Union, this project’s mission is to enhance international awareness regarding the unique qualities and time-honored traditions that distinguish European extra virgin olive oil.

By promoting knowledge about EVOO's nutritional and health benefits, highlighting its cultural significance, and encouraging its daily use in kitchens, the initiative aims to underscore the essence of quality and authenticity that European olive oil represents.

The Associazione is proud to comprise approximately 7,100 members, showcasing the depth of its roots in the local olive-growing community.
