Comforia Liv Yokohama Hiranuma stands as a newly constructed ten-story building that is set to be completed by September 2025. The incorporation of FreeiD enables seamless entry not only at the entrance but also throughout common and private spaces in the building, effectively creating Japan’s first “
All-Facial Recognition Residence®.”
Additionally, another property located in
Koto-ku, Tokyo, set to be completed in November 2025, is also set to integrate the FreeiD system.

What is FreeiD?
FreeiD is DXYZ's flagship product that allows individuals to connect their
living,
working, and
recreational activities through facial recognition technology. The platform aims to simplify everyday life by consolidating all forms of identification—such as wallets and ID cards—into a single facial recognition solution. With one-time registration, users can access various services—entry, payments, and identity verification—simply through their face, eliminating the need for physical keys and wallets.
FreeiD can integrate with a wide variety of facial recognition AI, enabling the provision of the most suitable AI for different scenarios. The
FreeiD Residence solution exemplifies the aspirations of 'living with just your face,' offering fully integrated access from the entrance and elevators to individual apartments, all without needing keys. As of late October 2025, FreeiD was already implemented in 271 residential buildings across the country.
Beyond residential applications, FreeiD is expanding its reach into offices, childcare centers, golf courses, and theme parks. The facial recognition payment service,
FreeiD Pay, is currently being trialed along with initiatives linking to My Number cards for identity verification.
