Ankura Establishes Turnaround and Restructuring Practice in Germany

Ankura Consulting Group, LLC, a prominent global advisory and expert services firm, proudly announces the launch of its Turnaround and Restructuring (TR) practice in Germany. This strategic expansion signifies Ankura’s dedication to growing its presence in the region and providing top-tier advisory services to its clients, harnessing the knowledge of seasoned local experts in conjunction with distinguished teams from around the world.

The formation of this new practice comes as a follow-up to Ankura's previous international expansions, which included entering the Australian market in 2019, the UK in 2021, and the Middle East in 2023.

The newly established practice in Germany will be spearheaded by Senior Managing Director Jens Nawrath, based in Frankfurt. Nawrath brings with him over three decades of experience in debt advisory and financial restructuring. Prior to joining Ankura, he led the Debt Advisory sector for the DACH region at a global consultancy, where he provided financing advice to corporations and private equity clients, while also building a leading cross-border advisory practice.
