As part of its efforts to promote Tokyo as a key destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events), the Tokyo Metropolitan Government along with the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau is organizing a client event aimed at local businesses engaged in meetings and incentive travel. This initiative not only showcases Tokyo's allure on both domestic and international fronts but also aims to generate significant economic ripple effects through MICE.

Overview of the Event

The upcoming event will attract approximately ten businesses involved in organizing meetings and incentive travel within Tokyo, including accommodations, destination management companies (DMCs), facility operators, event organizers, and area management organizations. By participating, these businesses will have the chance to engage in discussions and build networks with prominent meeting planners in Hanoi, Vietnam.

What is MICE?

MICE stands for:

• - Meeting: Corporate meetings.
• - Incentive Travel: Business rewards and training trips.
• - Convention: International conferences held by global organizations.
• - Exhibition/Event: Trade shows and various events.

Event Details

• - Target Participants: Local businesses in Tokyo responsible for facilitating meetings and incentive travel, including lodging services, DMCs, and related sectors.
• - Event Content: Participants will visit an overseas city, providing them with opportunities to meet with reputable meeting planners and engage in fruitful discussions.
• - Application Deadline: 6th November 2025, noon.
