WIPP Procurement Center of Excellence: Empowering Women-Owned Businesses Through Support and Education

WIPP Procurement Center of Excellence: A New Dawn for Women-Owned Businesses

The Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Procurement Center of Excellence has officially launched, backed by a generous $25,000 donation from Global Services Inc., one of the many small businesses striving to make a difference. This funding is a crucial step toward empowering women-owned enterprises to effectively navigate the often-complex federal procurement landscape.

The Vision Behind the Initiative

WIPP's Procurement Center of Excellence aims to bridge the gap for women-owned businesses that often find it challenging to compete in federal contracting. As Courtney Fairchild, President and CEO of Global Services, noted, many female entrepreneurs lack the support necessary to maximize their impact. This initiative is designed to change that dynamic.

The WIPP Education Institute (WEI), the educational wing of WIPP, oversees the center. It operates as a tax-exempt charitable organization, with a mission to accelerate the growth and capacity of women-owned businesses through targeted educational programs.

Launching with Purpose
