Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a leader in consumer health products, has announced the appointment of Suzana Blades to the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective September 1, 2026. This decision marks a transformative step for the company as it looks towards future growth strategies and its ongoing acquisition efforts.

Suzana's expertise in global litigation and risk management is poised to be invaluable for Kimberly-Clark as it navigates a dynamic business environment. Blades will report directly to Jeff Melucci, Chief Strategy, Business Development, and Administrative Officer, and will also take part in the executive leadership team that is integral to the completion of Kimberly-Clark's upcoming acquisition of Kenvue Inc.

Before her recent appointment, Blades held the role of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Litigation, Government Relations, and Legal Operations. Her tenure at Kimberly-Clark has involved managing global litigation, offering guidance on public policy and government relations, and leading the company’s legal operations for its Natural Solutions business.

Blades brings a wealth of experience from her previous position as Managing Counsel at ConocoPhillips, where she oversaw significant commercial litigation and arbitration matters on a global scale. Her prior experience also includes serving as a Senior Negotiator at Hess Corporation and working with the International Arbitration Group at Arnold & Porter.
