HOBBYWING CUP 2025 Onroad: An event for all RC enthusiasts!

RC car enthusiasts and newcomers alike are invited to experience the excitement of remote-controlled vehicle racing at the HOBBYWING CUP 2025 Onroad. This thrilling event is scheduled for April 27, 2025, at the New NEXT RUSH Circuit in Narita, Chiba. Organized by Sekido Co., Ltd., which serves as the official Japanese distributor for the HOBBYWING brand, the event aims to showcase the joy of RC car racing to a broader audience.

The HOBBYWING CUP 2025 Onroad features a competition for everyone, divided into five different classes catering to various skill levels from beginners to advanced racers. Participants will have the chance to compete for top honors, with trophies and prizes awarded to the top three finishers in each class. Additionally, all entrants can participate in exciting raffles and rock-paper-scissors games, which offer further prizes, ensuring a fun-filled day for all.

Event Overview

• - Date: April 27, 2025 (Sunday)
• - Time: Doors open at 7:00 AM, with registration starting at 8:00 AM.
• - Location: New NEXT RUSH Circuit, 468-2 Yoshioka, Narita, Chiba 287-0225.
• - Facilities: Outdoor pit area, on-site shop, flush toilets, power supplies, a compressor, parking, vending machine, microwave, and water kettle available.
• - Entry Fee: ¥2,500 for one class, ¥4,000 for two classes. Payment can be made in cash or via PayPay upon completion of the entry form provided at the event.

Participant Details

The total number of participants is capped at 80 individuals or 120 entries, with a registration deadline of April 21, 2025 (Monday). Participants may register for up to two classes each. It’s important to note that early registration may close sooner based on the number of entries, so aspiring racers are encouraged to secure their spot early.

Award Ceremony

Racers participating in the top three ranks across classes will receive trophies along with prizes.
Other engaging activities like raffles and rock-paper-scissors will offer additional prizes, making the event exciting for everyone involved.

Support at the Event

Support will be available at the HOBBYWING booth, where knowledgeable staff members, including Sawada and Akimoto, will address technical inquiries and offer insights on new products. This is a golden opportunity to engage with the experts and ensure that participants make the most out of their racing experience.

Classes and Regulations

The event includes classes for all levels to ensure inclusivity:
1. Modified Class - The ultimate high-speed category with competitive racers.
2. 13.5T Brinky Class - Fun with simple ESC settings, perfect for newcomers.
3. JM 17.5T Boost Class - Targeting participants in the All-Japan Championships.
4. FWD 17.5T Brinky Class - Front-wheel-drive car battles.
5. Justock 17.5T 20000 Class - A new class for equal conditions with speed restrictions.

Each class has specific regulations and requirements, such as chassis type, motor specifications, and tire choices, ensuring fair and competitive racing.
